Where the wild things were

This week Maurice Sendak died. It was weird because I was just reading Max and the wild things, an adulte version of where the wild things are. I didn't quiet understand the hype about the book but when I actually read it, I understood. It's the whole proces of max finding himself and growing up and understanding how hard it is to take care of someone. I understood his frustrations when the monsters were dissapointed and sad. Now I get it. Thank you Maurice, for giving us such a beautiful book.
